Every painting I create begins with the breath. I use my own breathing to move me into a place that is spacious enough to create.

For many of my yoga poem paintings, I begin with a pose and I move into the pose in my own body in order to get a sense of what it feels like to be there. I ponder where the energy is moving and where it feels tight or open. I then take these insights to the page, moving my brushes around in a way that best captures what I learned in the pose.

Creating a Custom Original Work for You

I’m proud to now offer the creation of custom original paintings for you! I can create for you a special painting or a series of paintings in a variety of sizes. Each painting will be handcrafted on wooden panels of pine, with a 3/4 cradle that will be painted to suit the painting and will make it ready to hang. The paintings look great unframed and grouped together!

I will create a custom yoga-inspired painting for you, in the colors you wish for and of a  pose or image that represents why you practice yoga. We can work together to create a message that’s perfect for you, that fits inside your life and your practice

My original paintings are vibrant in color and pull you in. They will help to light up any space that you use to practice yoga or live creatively. A painting might even help inspire you create a place like that somewhere in your home!

Do you want to give a bright colorful spot of happiness to yourself or someone else?

I have the arsenal of the rainbow to help me create a swirl of colors in a sacred circle piece or a blossoming flower piece. These paintings will make your heart feel lighter every time you look at them!

The Process

To get started with this process, contact me (see the button below) about what it is that you are looking for. I will ask you a series of questions to help me better determine what you would like in a painting. Once we decide on the direction of the project and a timeline, I will bill you via Pay Pal and begin working on your painting! A painting will take me about 2-3 weeks to complete once I get started on it and I will keep you updated on it as I go (and include pictures of the painting in progress if you like!)
